"The Silent Witness"
The magical quality of this photograph of the
James
Johnston House, by architectural photographer Joshua Freiwald in 1965,
was featured on the poster of his traveling exhibition "The Silent
Witness." The exhibition, shown in Chicago, Los Angeles and London,
England, drew critical raves in both countries. For the first time, the
Johnston House Foundation is offering a limited number of posters for
the London exhibition, signed by the photographer, for $65 each.
His photograph of "The White House of Half Moon Bay" was instrumental
is bringing this historic treasure to the attention of the public and
in salvaging what was once considered a lonely relic on a hillside
overlooking the Pacific Ocean slated for destruction.
The Foundation is accepting orders for 16" x 20" archival prints of the photograph for $750.00 each. Photographs
will be shipped directly from Mr. Freiwald's studio to the purchaser.
Checks should be made payable to the Johnston House Foundation, Inc.
